And the sounds seem to be much more 'alive' and full in comparison to SD2.0. The new VST instrument looks really nice and simple, which would be a welcome change from SD2.0. Also, the new Smart-Velocity Triggering algorithm makes any one-shot sample blend perfectly with the rest of your kit. Does anyone here have SSD 3.0 Im really interested. And now, you even have the option to import 3rd party MIDI grooves using the updated Grooves parameters. With over 2,400 MIDI grooves and over 400 instruments, you can quickly develop your perfect sounding drum groove. SSD 5.5 adds new kits and samples, including Steven’s previously unreleased OG one-shot samples that started his career back in 2005.
